Marina del Rey’s proximity to major Los Angeles freeways makes it simple to drive here from other parts of California. Marina del Rey is convenient to the 405, 10, and 105 freeways, as well as Lincoln Boulevard (Route 1).
From the north, drive south on Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway). Shortly past the junction with I-10 (Santa Monica Freeway), exit at Highway 90 (Marina Freeway). Take the 90 westbound for approximately 3 miles. As the freeway ends, turn left onto Mindanao Way, and drive into the Marina area. Turn left or right onto Admiralty Way to your destination.
From the south, drive north on Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway), past Los Angeles International Airport, and exit at Highway 90 (Marina Freeway). Take the 90 westbound for approximately 3 miles. As the freeway ends, turn left onto Mindanao Way, and drive into the Marina area. Turn left or right onto Admiralty Way to your destination.
From the east, drive west on Interstate 10 (Santa Monica Freeway) to southbound I-405 (San Diego Freeway). Exit at Highway 90 (Marina Freeway). Take the 90 westbound for approximately 3 miles. As the freeway ends, turn left onto Mindanao Way, and drive into the Marina area. Turn left or right onto Admiralty Way to your destination.
An alternate route coming from any direction is Interstate 105 westbound, although note that this is the most used route to LAX Airport. Exit 1C will take you to Highway 1 North/Sepulveda Boulevard, toward LAX. Stay to the left into the tunnel, following the sign for Highway 1/Lincoln Boulevard. Follow Lincoln Boulevard north for 5 miles. Turn left onto Fiji Way, and make a quick right onto Admiralty Way.
