Tommy Maverick

Tommy Maverick is a DJ, producer, and industry professional from San Diego, CA with reach throughout the Southern California area. He plays mostly trap, dubstep, and electro house. His mixing style features dynamic tempo changes and live mashups. In 2014, he discovered that a venue he regularly attended called Somewhere Loud was looking to add new local talent to their shows. This was the beginning of his journey as a DJ, one that would take him from Somewhere Loud’s sidestage onto opening for some of the biggest acts in EDM. He established himself at this venue by becoming one of its best promoters, performing on many of their events, and interacting with the community. When Somewhere Loud closed their doors in September of 2015, Tommy Maverick immediately set out to find a new place to apply his skills. Eventvibe was his next home, where he quickly established himself as a promoter and industry professional. There, he opened for The Chainsmokers and Keys N Krates, and also assisted with preparations for Eventvibe’s 2015 festival events: Heaven + Hell and Infinity NYE. In January of 2016, he began playing direct support slots at Bassmnt Nightclub, which features many Insomniac and Bassrush headliners, becoming more involved at Bassmnt over time. He has played direct support for the following headliners at Bassmnt: Flux Pavilion, Hermitude, Kill The Noise, JayKode, Dyro, Firebeatz, MOTi, and Ghastly. His professional background in social media marketing and promotions, as well as his certification in music production and audio engineering, provides him with a unique perspective as a performing artist. He is one of the founding members of Vimana Talent, a creative collective launching in 2017.
